Ray Willis Nance (1913–1976) was a versatile American jazz trumpeter, violinist, and singer, best known for his long tenure with Duke Ellington’s orchestra. Renowned for his iconic trumpet solo on "Take the 'A' Train," Nance was also Ellington’s sole violin soloist and a charismatic vocalist, earning the nickname "Floorshow."
The various pictures , photos I have included on this page, all represent a human who has sought to work hard, diligently to perfect a craft, to practice, to become better versions of themselves, those are values I believe in, and try to adhere to.
